Process Diary
The Seraphim came first, drawn feather by feather, each one carrying its own golden eye that never blinks. I wanted the weight of being seen by too many at once. The Nephilim arrived later, on the other side of the page — only one eye, only one tear, the winged liner sharp enough to cut. The halo behind them is borrowed, not earned. This is the moment before the fall, when the greeting is still tender and neither knows what the hello will cost. I kept the glow warm on purpose. The cold comes in the next piece.
